I'm Having an Attitude!
Where is your attitude today? It certainly can make or break your day! Little word but big effect!
My favorite thoughts about attitude were written by Chuck Swindoll:
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company ... a church ... a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ... we are in charge of our Attitudes."
May you have a wonderful attitude regardless of where life finds you today! It is all up to you! :D

Such a wonderful reminder and absolutely true. I try to always live life with a full cup and not a half empty glass. Hugs, Marty

Attitude checks and adjustments are frequently needed! This happened to me just today...
Happy Spiritual Sunday!
You are so right! Praying that mine is a great one!

Welcome anytime ...
Hi Carolyn,
I love your post about attitude..I remember being at a Jimmy Buffet concert and they talked about our attitude coming from our latitude (they meant life on a tropcial island.) I think the real trick is to have that "vacation" attitude of joy every day!!
Have a blessed Sunday.
XO
So absolutely true!!And since we are kindred spirits in our loving of the Lord and liking of Ann of Green Gables going start following along with you too!
Ann (without and "e")
This is true! Gratitude makes a world of difference. Thank you. I love your blog.
great reminder to me. Sometimes it's work to have a good attitude when things are going right. Happy Sunday.
I also needed this reminder today too! Thanks for the encouragement to live it! Have a beautiful Sunday!
Yes, and so, so true.
Carolyn, I always try to find one or more things that are good in my life everyday! You must always strive to have a good attitude, it makes your life and everyone elses so much better! Enjoy your day :)!
I believe this wholeheartedly! It is hard to do but today is the first day of the rest of our life so it is the best time to start!! I love to listen to Chuck Swindoll and his sister Lucy!!
Your opening line? I should have this etched on my bathroom mirror!
Love the accompanying photo, Carolyn!
Hi Carolyn...I'm with Chuck on that one! One's attitude DEFINITELY determines one's altitude!
Thanks for always visiting my blog, Carolyn, and commenting, too. I can't find your e-mail address to write and thank you but I want you to know your visits are very appreciated. Sincerely, Susan
This is a great quote! Loved it since I first heard it.I hope everyday that I choose a christ -like atitude.
Attitudes count! I've found that when mine gets out of whack, God has a remarkable way of helping me adjust it (: Blessings to you. xo
Thank you so much for this timely reminder!
Oh so true. I saw this time and again in the classroom... and when I am having a bad day if I stop and think it is usually my attitude... trouble is I often don't think and just trudge onweard. Thanks for the reminder. Annette
You're so right, Carolyn. Attitude is so important. Thank you for this reminder.
Blessings,
Charlotte
There are some days when I have to pray just a bit harder than other days about my attitude.
Thank-you for this post today.
God Bless,
Ginger
