TGIF « Marketplace Leaders

Today as I was strolling around in Blogland...I came across a friend that is really hurting. Seems life keeps delivering loads of tough struggles her way. Her struggles made me think of my quiet time this morning in God's Word.

I am going to share with you what the Lord showed me this morning. If you are feeling overwhelmed with difficulty and feel hopeless at times...and possibly feel at times you just don't understand all the hardships that come your way, I believe this might be of help!

I was reading a devotional that I received today which I receive every day in my email. It is from a wonderful teacher, Os Hillman, called "The Way of God". If you look at the attachment, it has the complete devotional from this morning.  There is also a place to receive these words of wisdom every morning in your own email.

Hugs, Carolyn
Psalm 28:7

I also would like to insert a link to an awesome, classic example of a loving Father who allows us to go through hardships---carries us through them....but has a blessing for us if we remain hopeful in Him.  We may be in the furnace and He is removing all the impurities, but He won't leave us there....there is a plan in all He does. The link I am going to insert here is from Marty from "A Stroll Thru Life" and once you read it, you will understand exactly what I mean and why I would love to include it in this post.  I am sure many of you have already read this beautiful post, but I also know there are many who might not have.

Your devotional for today is wonderful. So hard to remember that no matter what we are going through, the Lord is always in control. Praising Him during times of trial is so hard. I will keep your friend in prayer. Hugs, Marty

Isn't that the truth? Trials are not prayer requests for sure! But we all will have them!

Thank you for you prayers!

Have a wonderful day!

nannykin, i have to completely agree with you!! the growth during a trial is phenomnal ...if there is no way to turn but upwards, it is a wonderful time to learn what your faith is all about!! just how strong is your faith? when i went through my divorce, i grew like i had never grown before ....which now i praise Him for allowing a tradegy to learn such growth! :) we have an awesome God! :)

Hi Carolyn, I responded to you via email but then realized it went into blogland somewhere so I just pasted my reply here. In response to your comment on my blog...Walmart had four inch mums for a dollar so I bought a few. I hope to get them potted up this weekend. I'm with you, I just love fall.
I love the direction your blog is taking. It is so inspirational. I have found that I enjoy posting a conversational blog more than a decorating or teaching blog. I take pictures of what I like or what's relevant in my life but don't necessarily talk about the pictures...I just kind of share. Sometimes it's scriptural and sometimes it's just life. What I have learned is that I have to be true to me. I hope you continue to find joy in blogging because I really enjoy having you back.
Anything on the job interview? Patty

Hi Sherri! Welcome and I am so happy you like my blog! :) I look forward to your return!

Hi Patty! It is so good to be back! Thank you for your comments! :) I have been pondering what in the world am I doing on blogland...what is my point? I really didn't care for just showing my stuff...but yet I knew, I would always grab a cup of coffee and sit down to look in blogland & ENJOY! I had noticed the change in your blog...and I liked it! I felt the Lord prodding me to get back but with a new direction! :) I too, had to be true to myself...who I am. I love the pictures and the beauty in blogland...I enjoy looking at pretty things but I too don't want to make that my focus!

LOL! I am rambling....ladies, have a wonderful day and a great weekend!
Hugs to you both! :)

Patty,

I forgot to answer your question about the job hunt....I did get a lead last night from my niece! Not sure on anything yet...but it could be a great possibility. I will keep you posted! :D Thank you for your interest! :)
